Maintaining a Safe Neighborhood
The Highlawn Neighborhood Association hosts a proactive neighborhood watch program. Highlawn is a safe, pleasant area of Huntington and home to friendly neighbors who work together to maintain a wonderful place to live. It’s the goal of the Neighborhood Watch to maintain the quality of life and safety of our area. Residents meet at 10:30 am on the first Saturday of every month, on the 2nd floor of the St. Mary’s Medical Center’s Heart Institute.
New events the Neighborhood Watch is holding:

The Street Light Round-Up is part of the Light Up the Night Initiative the aimed at communicating the importance of well lit streets and yards. Neighbors will be meeting in the St. Mary’s Heart Institute Parking Lot at 8pm.
Another Upcoming Event is 30th Street Clean-Up. On Monday March 16th, Highlawn Neighbors are coming together to clean up the streets and alleys around 30th St. Volunteers will be meeting in the St. Mary’s Heart Institute Parking Lot at 6pm.
