Background

Formed in 1997, the Highlawn Neighborhood Association is a voluntary group of neighbors dedicated to the attainment and preservation of the Highlawn neighborhood as a desirable place to live, learn, work, and play.  It is our goal to cooperatively and collaboratively work with the City of Huntington to address public health, safety, cleanliness and recreation in our neighborhood.

Our riverside community is home to two parks, nine churches, three schools, Marshall University, and Cabell County Board of Education. We're proud to host more than one hundred businesses, including ACF, Champion Industries, Rubberlite, and St. Mary's Medical Center.

HNA meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month, at Highlawn United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Third Avenue and 28th Street, at 7:00 p.m. Representatives from City Council and the Police Department are in attendance.
